Availability, rates and reservations

 

LOW SEASON (December 1- May 31, except holidays)

 

Please note:

(1) An additional $50 security/cleaning/long-distance calls deposit will be witheld until departure for 2-night rentals for groups up to 2 people, and $100 for longer rentals and/or larger groups. This deposit will be refunded so long as the cabin is left "reasonably" clean, without damage, and no long-distance phone calls have been made
(2) Children under the age of 2 stay free of charge. Children ages 2-12 are charged $15 per night per child only.
(3) Short-term rentals (under 30 days) in the state of West Virginia are subject to a 6% sales tax.
(4) Until confirmed with a deposit, rates are subject to change without notice.
(5) Depending on other reservations, check-in/check-out times may be adjusted in your favor.

Reservations are accepted only when payment for half of the rental fee has been received. The balance must be paid in full thirty (30) days in advance, by check or by money order only.

Reservations may be cancelled for any reason without penalty with a 30-day minimum notice. A cancellation sent after this deadline will incur a maximum 50% penalty fee (equivalent to the deposit).

Rental occupancy is limited to 8 people maximum (three bedrooms: 2 queen-size beds + 1 full-size bed + 1 full-size futon in living-room).

House parties, bachelors/bachelorettes parties, family reunions, and --generally speaking-- gatherings with more than 8 people on the premises at any particular time are not allowed. Guest(s) agree that more than the number of people stated on the lease/confirmation agreement shall not occupy the premises. If the cabin is occupied by more than the number of people stated, it will result in loss of total rent and security/cleaning deposit, and guest(s) will be asked to vacate the property immediately, with no refund.

Smoking is not allowed inside the cabin.

Beddings are furnished (we provide pillows, sheets and a blanket). Beds are made for your arrival but towels, toiletries, meals and daily housekeeping are your own responsibility.

The cabin features a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, and all the necessary dishes and utensils. There is a gas grill outside. For extended stays, a washer and dryer are available in the utility room.

During the summer, the cabin is equipped with AC window units and/or fans. For winter rentals, a fireplace does a great job at keeping guests warm and there is plenty of firewood available on the premise. The cabin also has electric heating in every room.

The living-room features a TV (local stations only), DVD and stereo. CDs are available and you're also welcome to bring your own. Local phone calls are free.

On the lower level, a family and game room features a foosball, several board games and a small library. A hammock awaits the lazy ones in the garden.
